Hmmm Rob Thomas has a thing for me.
I do admit to fudging the results a little. I put my whole video library on a playlist for this and I have around 12 gigs worth of MP3s on my external hard drive. I think this messed up my Windows media player because it kept giving me same songs over and over. So I would hit the next button 10 or so times and wait for it to catch up. That seemed to get the shuffle to work right. I also have a bunch of Podcasts and sound bits I didn’t use.
To bad I wasn’t able to get links to everything. I hope everyone does this. It’s fun. Add a link back if you do so I can compare our luck. By the way I haven’t purchased a new CD in YEARS. Most of the stuff I do have is early 90’s and 80’s.
I really love this meme! I was giggling the entire time I did it and also loved listening to some of the songs again. The only thing I fudged is that I pulled out my rather large library of holiday tunes that was still on my main file of songs leftover from December. Really didn’t want Rudolph coming up as an answer!! As it is, my shuffle got totally stuck on the 80s tunes anyway. Can’t believe Duran Duran didn’t come up on mine given the 80s thing!! Love Ordinary World. For that matter how did Jimmy Buffet not appear on mine either??

I’m sure Jimmy Buffet came up because I have the Beaches, Boats, Bars, And Ballads compilation. I should have really limited it to stuff I would actually listen to on a normal basis. Though Weird Al would still be in there.

yeah 12 gigs of music. I have a pretty big collection. Some of it’s pretty esoteric and a lot of it’s 80’s and early 90’s bands. I do have a mix of MP3 and Wav files. The wav files are pretty big.
